On March 27, 2023, Entrepreneurial Equity Partners LLC (“E2P”), a Chicago-based private equity firm focused on the food and consumer packaged goods industries, acquired 100% of the issued and outstanding shares in the capital of Marsan Foods ULC.
Founded in 1970 and headquartered in Scarborough, Ontario, Marsan Foods is a leading manufacturer and distributor of a broad range of frozen and fresh goods, including specialty bakery items, in-flight meals, and private-label products. The company caters to both retail and foodservice customers, and their products can be found in major grocery stores across Canada and the United States.
