Margaret MacKinnon (she/her/hers) is an associate in the Banking & Specialty Finance group at Cassels and a member of our Real Estate & Development team. Before joining Cassels as an associate, Margaret summered and articled with the firm. Margaret graduated from Western University Law School, and graduated with Distinction with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University). At Western, Margaret was a Program Manager of the Sport Solution Legal Clinic, where she assisted National and Olympic-level athletes with sports law disputes. At Toronto Metropolitan, Margaret was a student clinician with the Law and Business Clinic.
In her spare time, Margaret enjoys exploring Ontario’s provincial parks, and cheering on Toronto’s sports teams, especially the Maple Leafs, Raptors and Blue Jays.
