Ashley Jung is an associate in the Taxation Group at Cassels. Her practice focuses on domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganization transactions, private equity investments, and executive compensation. She also assists clients with general corporate and commercial matters.
Ashley joined Cassels as a summer student in 2019 and completed her articles with the firm between 2020-2021. She earned her Juris Doctor at Osgoode Hall Law School where she received a Dean’s Gold Key Award for her contributions to the law school and academic prizes. Prior to law school, Ashley earned her International Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business. During her studies, Ashley completed a semester studying advanced Spanish in Mexico and a semester studying international business in Peru. She is proficient in Spanish.
Ashley is the President of the Korean Canadian Lawyers Association and volunteers as a mentor with the Law in Action Within Schools program.
