Frank Arnone is a retired partner of the Business Law Group at Cassels and served as Co-Chair of the firm’s Private Equity Group. Frank’s practice emphasized domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance for a wide variety of issuer, underwriter and private equity clients. Frank offered extensive experience working on complex transactions in a wide range of industry sectors. He also provided ongoing advice on securities law, stock exchange compliance and corporate governance matters. Frank has written extensively on a wide variety of private equity, corporate finance and securities topics including corporate governance, and was a contributing editor of Federated Press’ Corporate Financing Journal.

Frank served as a member of the Chairman’s Expert Advisory Board of CloudMD Software from 2021 until 2024. The multi-disciplinary board was created to guide CloudMD’s global growth initiatives. Frank was previously a Vice-Chair and member of the Board of Directors and Nominating & Governance Committee of the Canadian Centre for Ethics and Corporate Policy. He also served as a member of the Board of Directors of Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare, Chair of the Governance Committee and a member of the Quality & Patient Safety Committee. Prior to joining Cassels, Frank was a partner at another national firm where he chaired the Securities Group and the Private Equity Group.
