On May 15, 2024, Masonite International Corporation was acquired by Owens Corning by way of a court approved Plan of Arrangement in British Columbia. Masonite International is a leading global provider of interior and exterior doors and door systems, whose business will now be integrated into the branded residential products operations of Owens Corning. Owens Corning paid a cash purchase price of US$133 per share to Masonite International shareholders, for an implied transaction value of approximately US$3.9 billion.
