On April 29, 2024, Contact Gold Corp. was acquired by Orla Mining Ltd. by way of a court-approved plan of arrangement. As a result of the transaction, Orla acquired all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Contact Gold and Contact Gold became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Orla. Former Contact Gold shareholders received 0.0063 of an Orla common share in exchange for each Contact Gold share held.
