Alexandra Nesterova

Alexandra Nesterova (she/her/hers) is an associate in the Business Law Group at Cassels. Alexandra received her JD from Queen’s University Faculty of Law, where she was awarded the Public Interest Award and the Course Prize in International Economic Law. Prior to joining Cassels as an associate, Alexandra was an articling student with the firm.

In law school, Alexandra was a caseworker at Queen’s Elder Law Clinic and served as co-president of Queen’s Venture Law Society. During her 1L summer, Alexandra completed the International Business Law program at Bader International Study Center and interned at the International Initiatives Unit of the Canadian Bar Association. In her final year, Alexandra spent a semester in the International Business LLM Program at Université Jean Moulin in Lyon, France.

Prior to studying law, Alexandra obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree with distinction from University of Calgary. After graduating Alexandra worked in business development at a multinational technology corporation.

Alexandra is an avid traveller and a yoga enthusiast. In her spare time she enjoys surfing, skiing and listening to audiobooks.
