Andrew Dilts* is a partner in the Business Law Group at Cassels. In this role, Andrew serves as a legal advisor to top business leaders as part of the Cassels team, a firm with one of the largest business law practices in Canada.
A dual citizen with an international practice, Andrew serves clients from across the street and around the world, from early stage enterprises to multinational organizations. Andrew’s practice focuses on private equity, mergers and acquisitions, public and private financings, and general corporate and transactional matters. In each of these practices, Andrew is supported by the full-service legal team at Cassels.
An alumnus of the University of Waterloo, Canada’s epicentre for entrepreneurship, Andrew has a passion for working with clients who seek to take a business idea and turn it into a reality — whether that idea focuses on an acquisition or exit, establishment of a new fund or enterprise, completion of a challenging transaction, or taking an enterprise to the next stage of its lifecycle.
Andrew’s approach is one of servant leadership. He has served as an ambassador and committee chair with the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade, founding chair of Vancouver Startup Week, and chair of Vancouver’s Yaletown Roundhouse, among others.
While in law school, Andrew served as an editor-in-chief of the University of British Columbia Law Review and valedictorian of his graduating class at the UBC Faculty of Law.
