Andrew Dilts recently served as the host and Master of Ceremonies for an event that matched young professionals onto positions of boards of directors of Vancouver-based non-profit organizations, the “Night of Non-Profit Engagement and Board Recruitment.”
More than 30 non-profit organizations and 150 young professionals participated in this second annual event, which Dilts originally brought to the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade in 2018. Non-profits were selected from those with specific interest in recruiting young professionals on their boards. Mary McNeil, a former British Columbia provincial cabinet minister, served as the evening’s keynote speaker.
The event was hosted by the “Company of Young Professionals” of the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade, one of Canada’s largest business organizations, which includes approximately 1,000 young professional members.
