Viviana Heather

Viviana Heather was a member of the 2021 summer student class at Cassels and will return as an Articling Student in 2022. After spending her first year at the University of Alberta, Viviana will be completing her J.D. at the University of Calgary. Viviana received the Merv Leitch Q.C. Leadership Scholarship in her first year of law for her academic achievements and community involvement. Viviana is a member of the Alberta Law Review editorial board, Co-President of the Students Against Domestic Abuse Association at the University of Calgary, and Communications Coordinator for the Brenda Strafford Centre. Viviana also participated in the William McGillivray Moot and placed in the top four.

Prior to law school, Viviana completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours, First Class) from the University of Calgary. While obtaining her undergraduate degree, Viviana worked as a clerk for a variety of clinics within Alberta Health Services.

In her spare time, Viviana enjoys playing video games, board games, travelling, practicing yoga, and going on long walks in Nose Hill Park with her dog.
