Simone Dreksler is an associate in the Banking & Specialty Finance Group at Cassels. Simone’s practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, representing both lenders and borrowers involved in domestic and cross-border financing transactions and corporate finance matters. Before becoming an associate at Cassels, Simone summered and articled at the firm.
Simone graduated from the J.D. program at the University of Toronto in 2020. In her final year, Simone was awarded the Lionel H. Schipper, Q.C. Prize for achieving the highest grade in an Advanced Business Law Seminar and the Edward J Kowal Prize for achievement in commercial law courses. Prior to law school, Simone graduated with a First Class Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University, including an academic exchange to the University of Economics in Prague.
