Sabah Kalim

Future Articling Student: 2022

Sabah Kalim was a member of the 2021 summer student class at Cassels and will return as an Articling Student in 2022. Sabah recently completed her second year at Osgoode Hall Law School. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society from York University, where she graduated summa cum laude with Highest Distinction. While at York University, she was an active student-athlete as a member of the York University Women’s Volleyball team and a four-time recipient of the U-SPORT Academic All-Canadian award.

Most recently, Sabah worked with the Human Rights Legal Support Centre, where she was responsible for providing summary legal advice, conducting legal research, drafting memoranda and arguments, participating in hearings and leading mediations. At Osgoode, Sabah is active in her school’s chapter of the Black Law Students Association and served as the 1L elected representative for the Osgoode Hall Law School Student Caucus and the Admissions Committee. Sabah also worked as a research assistant, conducting legal investigation, drafting memoranda and analyzing case material related to labour law in the context of an emerging global pandemic.

Sabah enjoys playing fetch with her dogs, playing poker and exploring different foods. You can also find Sabah on ZoomerMedia’s VisionTV where she is an actor on a fitness series.
