Nadia Shivratan was a member of the 2021 summer student class at Cassels and will return as an Articling Student in 2022. Nadia is currently entering her third year in the J.D. program at the University of Windsor. Throughout law school, Nadia has been an active member of her student community, acting as the Co-President of Corporate Law Club, Editor-in-Chief of Humans of Windsor Law, and Vice President of Women and the Law. During the academic year, she is also a Research Assistant for Associate Dean Laverne Jacobs.
During the summer of 2020, Nadia put her entrepreneurial spirit to work and founded a non-profit initiative called LawLinks, which connected over 100 law students to meaningful volunteer opportunities across Canada.
Nadia completed her Honours Bachelors of Business Administration at Wilfrid Laurier University, Lazaridis School of Business and Economics, where she received the Excellence Award for academic excellence and active involvement in the community.
In her spare time, Nadia enjoys fitness classes and travelling the globe. She has currently explored 22 countries and counting.
