Jonathan Shepherd is an associate in the Litigation Group at Cassels. Jonathan maintains a broad civil and commercial litigation practice. Prior to joining Cassels as an associate, Jonathan was a summer and articling student at the firm. At law school, Jonathan was a member of the Dalhousie Student Advocacy Service where he advocated for students regarding academic and code of conduct hearings.
Jonathan obtained his J.D. from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University. Prior to law school, he obtained a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Victoria. In his spare time, Jonathan is an avid skier, climber, cyclist, runner, and swimmer. Jonathan has backcountry skied throughout British Columbia and the Swiss Alps, climbed world class sport routes in North America, and cycled across Canada.
