Clara Pencer

Summer Law Student

Clara Pencer is a member of the 2022 summer student class at Cassels. Clara recently completed her third year of the JD/MBA program at the University of Toronto. During her degree, Clara was awarded the Alexander Kinghorn Fellowship for achieving a GPA in the top 10% of the MBA class. She also held research assistant positions at Harvard Law School, analyzing global wetmarket regulation and at the University of Toronto, examining Canadian aquaculture policy. Additionally, Clara worked at the Entrepreneurship Hatchery where she advised start-ups on business plans, financial projections, and investor pitches.

Prior to law school, Clara graduated with High Distinction from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science. During her undergraduate, she worked in various research roles including as a lab manager and an NSERC USRA recipient researcher.

In her spare time, Clara enjoys traveling, skiing, and a good TV show.
