Catherine Litinsky is an associate in the Litigation Group at Cassels. Catherine maintains a broad corporate and commercial practice, with a focus on commercial leasing and contract disputes. Prior to joining Cassels as an associate, Catherine was an articling student with the firm.
Catherine is a graduate of Robson Hall, University of Manitoba. While in law school, Catherine served as Social Committee Chair for the Manitoba Law Students Association, and piloted the Trans ID Clinic with Pro Bono Students Canada and Rainbow Resource Centre of Winnipeg. She additionally competed in the 2022 Michel Bastarache French Language Moot, where her team was awarded the Michel-Bastarache Prize. Before joining Cassels, Catherine spent her summers during law school working on a class action lawsuit for a Winnipeg litigation firm, and as a Case Manager for the Legal Help Centre of Winnipeg.
Before entering law school, Catherine completed a Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance with Honours, from Sheridan Institute of Technology. During her time as an undergraduate student, Catherine performed in various musical productions both within the faculty and throughout Canada.
When she’s not working, Catherine can be found doing yoga, attending theatre or doing karaoke with her friends.
