Angela He

Angela He (she/her/hers) is an associate in the Banking & Specialty Finance Group at Cassels. Angela’s practice encompasses all aspects of commercial real estate law, including project development, acquisitions and dispositions, leasing and secured lending. Angela also regularly deals with the real property aspects of mines and mining lands. Prior to joining Cassels as an associate, Angela was both a summer and articling student at the firm.

Angela graduated from the J.D. program at Western University in 2020, where she served as a Staff Editor of the Western Journal of Legal Studies and Co-Chair of the East Asian Law Students Association. Angela graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia, majoring in International Relations with a minor in Asian Canadian and Asian Migrations Studies. During her time at UBC, she was involved extensively with community revitalization in Vancouver’s Chinatown and received the Arts Undergraduate Research Award. She also spent the summer of her first year of law school at the Myanmar office of an international law firm.

Angela contributed to “The Collapsing Deal” presentation at the Hot Topics in Commercial Real Estate program, presented by the Pacific Business & Law Institute (PBLI), which took place on February 7, 2023.
