Carla Potter and Lauren Grossman will be part of the panel discussing “So You Want to Securitize?” at the Equipment Leasing & Finance Association’s 2025 Legal Forum taking place in Charlotte, North Carolina on May 4-6, 2025.
This session will focus on securitization matters impacting finance companies and things that companies, and their outside counsel, should consider when entering into leases or loans with a view to securitize the transaction. This session will also provide an overview of options for structuring the transaction, an overview of UCC and PPSA concerns in a securitization, true sale and bankruptcy remoteness considerations and related opinion matters, among other relevant topics.
