On June 5, 2023, Tokens.com Corp., a NEO-listed public company that invests in web3 assets and builds businesses linked to crypto staking, the metaverse and play-to-earn gaming, completed the acquisition of all of the issued and outstanding shares of Metaverse Group Ltd.
As consideration for the acquisition, Tokens.com issued an aggregate of 20,576,941 common shares to the Metaverse Group vendors. In addition, an aggregate of 3,105,650 options to purchase common shares of Tokens.com and 694,000 RSUs of Tokens.com were granted as replacement securities to certain incentive security holders of Metaverse Group.
