On September 28, 2023, Infrastructure Ontario (“IO”) and Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (“CHEO”) awarded a fixed-price contract of approximately $371 million to EllisDon Infrastructure OCH Inc. to design, build, and finance the CHEO 1Door4Care Integrated Treatment Centre Redevelopment project.
The new integrated treatment centre will offer services for kids and youth living with complex medical, developmental, behavioural or mental health needs.
