Cassels acted for Jenner 2 Limited Partnership (Jenner 2) and Jenner 3 Limited Partnership (Jenner 3) on their approval of the amended Jenner Wind Power Plant Expansion (JWPP 2 and 3), which is a 180.6 MW wind project in southeastern Alberta. On November 26, 2021, the Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC) approved the amended JWPP 2 and 3 within 236 days of the amendment application filing without a hearing. The AUC found that JWPP 2 and 3 was in the public interest.
Potentia Renewables Inc. purchased the Jenner Wind Power Projects in 2015. JWPP 2 and 3 is now held by the project-specific limited partnerships Jenner 2 and Jenner 3.
