Zach Flemming-Giannotti is an associate in the Construction Law Group at Cassels. Zach represents a wide array of clients across the industry, including public and private owners, contractors, subcontractors, engineers, architects, and sureties, among others. He has provided strategic advice to clients on disputes arising out of major construction and infrastructure projects including light rail transit, highways, bridges, hospitals, and mines. Zach also routinely assists clients with respect to issues arising during the regular course of project delivery.
As an advocate, Zach regularly represents clients in arbitral and court proceedings, and has played key roles in complex, high-value construction and infrastructure disputes. He has argued matters before all levels of court in Ontario, and has made written submissions to the Supreme Court of Canada. While Zach is a powerful advocate in arbitral and court proceedings when required, he works diligently to resolve clients’ disputes efficiently and cost-effectively.
Prior to joining Cassels, Zach practiced at a leading construction law firm in Toronto.
