Peter Voltsinis

Peter Voltsinis (he/him/his) is a member of the 2023-2024 Articling Student class at Cassels and previously summered at the firm.

Peter graduated with Distinction from the J.D. program at the University of Toronto. At law school, he served as Co-President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. He also interned with the National Hockey League Players’ Association during his 1L summer. In that role, Peter drafted legal briefs and prepared rebuttal exhibits on behalf of NHL players who filed for salary arbitration.

Peter graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Environmental Studies in Planning (Honours) prior to pursuing a legal education. He also served in several planning co-op positions, including as a Land Development Coordinator for a homebuilding company and as a Policy Planning Student in a regional municipality’s planning department. In Peter’s final year, the Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP) awarded him a CIP Student Award for Academic Excellence for achieving the highest academic standing in the program.

In his spare time, Peter enjoys baking (everything from blueberry scones to cinnamon bun cheesecake), watching mixed martial arts, and biking.
