Mariam Awadalla

Mariam Awadalla (she/her) is a member of the 2025-2026 Articling Student class at Cassels. She holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Windsor and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from McMaster University.

During her time in law school, Mariam led the Pro Bono Students Canada radio initiative and was selected to complete an externship with Windsor Regional Hospital. She also conducted and published research on the regulatory requirements surrounding the use of artificial intelligence in healthcare which led to the development of internal health policies. In addition, Mariam participated in the Zuber Moot and served as a mentor to first-year law students.

In her spare time, Mariam enjoys swimming, hiking, cooking, and traveling.
