Madison Skoblo (she/her/hers) is a member of the 2026-2027 Articling Student class at Cassels, having previously summered with the firm. She recently earned her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School and holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, where she majored in Political Science and History with a minor in European Affairs.
Madison grew up in Moscow, Russia, where she witnessed how the growing presence of law firms supported business growth and contributed to the city’s transformation. Inspired by this experience, she attended law school and gained practical experience through a variety of legal clinics. As a student volunteer with ARCH Disability Law Centre, Madison assisted with disability rights advocacy and client matters. She also worked with the IP Innovation Clinic, helping startups, entrepreneurs, and inventors navigate intellectual property issues. Through Pro Bono Students Canada, she also volunteered with Luke’s Place, supporting clients with family law matters.
Madison is passionate about promoting mental health and well-being within the legal profession. She helped establish the first mentorship program for GPLLM and LLM students at the University of Toronto and continued her advocacy at Osgoode Hall Law School through the Women’s Network, where she served as Senior Executive, Professional Development and Skills. Outside of work, Madison enjoys reading, attending fitness classes, cheering on the Blue Jays, and spending time with family and friends. An avid traveller, she recently returned from backpacking across Southeast Asia and the Balkans.
