Joel Matson is an associate in the Business Law Group at Cassels. His practice is transactional based, with a focus on corporate and securities law matters, including equity and debt financings, M&A, initial public offerings, continuous disclosure obligations and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining Cassels as an associate, Joel was both a summer and articling student with the firm.
Joel received his JD from Western University’s Faculty of Law in Spring of 2021, where he received the Carswell Entrance Scholarship. Prior to law school, Joel graduated from Western University with an Honors Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies, majoring in Finance with distinction and earning the MOS Diamond Jubilee Alumni Scholarship.
