Brittany Bottan (she/her/hers) is an associate in the Banking & Specialty Finance Group at Cassels. Brittany’s practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, including domestic and cross-border financing transactions, secured lending transactions, and corporate finance matters. Before joining Cassels as an associate, Brittany was both a summer and articling student with the firm.

She completed the Single JD program at the University of Windsor and spent a semester on exchange at Manchester Metropolitan University in England. While at Windsor, Brittany worked for the Windsor Spitfires (OHL) team and the Windsor Lancers athletics department. She was a member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and participated in the Transnational Entertainment and Arts Law Clinic. Prior to law school, Brittany graduated from Queen’s University with an Honours Bachelor of Arts where she majored in Global Development Studies, minored in Gender Studies, and completed an International Studies Certificate.

In her spare time Brittany enjoys reading her latest book club novel, baking, and training for upcoming races.
