Ardy Mohajer is a partner in the Real Estate & Development Group at Cassels practicing real estate and property development law. He represents both private and public sector clients in the acquisition and disposition of a wide range of commercial assets including retail centres, industrial and office buildings, multi-residential complexes, and hotels. Ardy routinely acts on both lender and borrower side real estate financing transactions, including those relating to acquisition, term, mezzanine and construction loan facilities. He also has extensive experience in landlord and tenant side leasing for office, industrial, retail, and restaurant premises. Furthermore, Ardy advises private equity funds, developers, and investment companies on joint venture and co-ownership structuring, and issuers and underwriters on capital market offerings.
Ardy co-leads the Law in Action Within Schools (LAWS) partnership at Cassels, and is a Lawyers for Possibility cabinet member for Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital.
Ardy obtained his J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School. Previously, he earned an M.Sc. from the Department of Bioresource Engineering at McGill University where his research on efficient waste management processes led to the publication of two scientific papers as first-author in peer-reviewed journals.
