Alex Slota (he/him/his) is a law clerk in the Banking, Lending & Specialty Finance Group at Cassels, and a member of the Toronto Corporate Services team. Alex’s responsibilities include, among other things, the handling of resolutions and filings with respect to federal and Ontario corporations, as an extension of the general corporate maintenance performed on behalf of client companies. Alex also attends to all due diligence related search matters, across all jurisdictions in Canada, and assists as team lead in the Toronto office. Alex has over twelve years of experience working in business law. Prior to joining Cassels, he worked at another top Toronto law firm, in the corporate securities department.
Alex graduated from the University of Toronto in 2005 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree. He also attained a Diploma in the Law Clerk program at Humber College with High Honours in 2007.
