Abrina Bandali

Abrina Bandali (she/her/hers) is a member of the 2025-2026 Articling Student class at Cassels. Abrina received her Juris Doctor from Queen’s University Faculty of Law. While at Queen’s, she served as a Junior Editor for the Canadian Labour and Employment Law Journal and completed an internship at a family law firm. She also worked with the Conflict Analytics Lab, where she collaborated with computer scientists to develop AI-driven legal technology.

As a Director of the Queen’s Venture Law Society, Abrina helped foster dialogue with legal professionals about innovation in the legal industry. She supported first-year law students as a tutor and was recognized with the Course Prize in Business Associations. In her final year, she participated in an international exchange at the University of New South Wales in Australia.

During her 1L summer, Abrina conducted contract review for a global medical technology company to support the delivery of emerging healthcare solutions.

Before law school, Abrina earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Western University, followed by a Master of Economic Development and Innovation from the University of Waterloo. Her graduate studies focused on strategies to help entrepreneurs scale their startups. After completing her Master’s, she worked as a Research Analyst at the Ministry of Infrastructure, supporting municipal infrastructure investment across Ontario.

In her spare time, Abrina enjoys cheering on the Leafs, attending concerts, travelling, and spending time with her dogs.
