Hardeep Dhaliwal (she/her/hers) is an associate in the Litigation Group at Cassels. Hardeep maintains a broad civil and commercial litigation practice. Before joining Cassels as an associate, Hardeep summered and articled with the firm.
Hardeep graduated from the J.D. program at Western University. During her time at law school, Hardeep was an active moot participant. She placed top-four at the 2018 First Year Advocacy Competition and received the Best Respondent Factum Award at the 2018 Lerners Cup. She also participated in the 2019 Phillip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition and went on to coach the team in the following year. Hardeep was an active member of her student community as a volunteer for Pro Bono Students Canada and Western Law’s peer mentorship program.
Hardeep completed her undergraduate and master’s degrees in political science at Western. She was a teaching assistant for a first-year political science course during her graduate studies. She previously worked in the commercial litigation department of another firm before joining Cassels as a summer student in 2019.
