Cassels is pleased to announce that the Government of Ontario has appointed our partner Jake Bullen to the Business Law Modernization and Burden Reduction Council, an advisory panel of legal experts.
The Business Law Modernization and Burden Reduction Council provides recommendations to the Government of Ontario through the Minister of Government and Consumer Services on business law matters. Its mandate is to make recommendations on how to modernize Ontario’s corporate and commercial statutes to support the government’s commitment to reduce burden on business and foster a good business climate in Ontario.
Jason (Jake) Bullen is a partner in the Business Law Group at Cassels and serves as Co-Chair of the firm’s Private Equity Group. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, financings, strategic advice, corporate re-organizations and complex commercial agreements, with a significant cross-border component.
