Cassels is pleased to announce that it has been recognized as a finalist for “Law Firm of the Year” at the 2019 Changing Lawyer Awards.
These awards recognize and celebrate those individuals and organizations which have embraced and championed change. Law Firm of the Year acknowledges the firms that have most successfully reimagined the way they serve their clients.
Cassels has been recognized for its work in recognizing the need for – and establishing – FourLines and Leading E-dge. These two divisions work on transactional and litigation matters, respectively, but are aligned with a common focus to improve both the quality and timeliness of the firm’s legal advice and services. FourLines specializes in contract analysis, document automation, and matter management. Leading E-dge specializes in e-discovery and case management. Together, they are the firm’s process improvement incubator and change agent, identifying opportunities for efficiency through assessment, pilot, and implementation of specialized staffing models, workflows, and technology.
The Changing Lawyer Awards are presented by Litera Microsystems. Says the company’s CMO Julian Morgan: “This year’s finalists … represent an elite group of individuals and organizations that are playing key roles in the changing legal landscape.” A panel of five judges will be used to determine winning individuals and firms.
