Cassels is proud to note that Thomas Isaac, Chair of the Aboriginal Law Group at Cassels, will be providing a keynote address at this year’s Pilbara summit, taking place in Karratha, Australia on October 10 and 11, 2023. This year’s summit focuses on transition and collaboration in a diverse and dynamic region.
Tom will be providing a keynote address on the first day of the summit with Michael Blakiston of Gilbert + Tobin – the summit’s lead knowledge partner. The address will look at agreement-making with First Nations people from a Canadian and Australian perspective, including how First Nations groups can use land to create sustainability and economic self-determination.
