Zainab Olasege (she/her/hers) is a member of the 2023-2024 Articling Student class at Cassels and previously summered with the firm. Zainab received her JD from the University of Toronto in 2023. During her time there, Zainab coordinated meetings at an Ontario-based summary advice clinic providing legal advice to creatives. She sharpened her research skills as a research assistant supporting the publication on a collection of essays on international women’s rights.
Prior to law school, Zainab completed her Honours Bachelor of Science at the University of Toronto, majoring in both Biology and Professional Writing. Early in her undergrad journey, she facilitated a study group for first year biology students and later served in a plant biology research lab.
In her spare time, Zainab enjoys writing, watching historical documentaries, and attending ballet shows.
