Zach Zittell (he/him/his) is an associate in the Business Law Group and Franchise Law Group at Cassels. Zach maintains a broad practice, helping clients comply with Canadian franchise legislation and advising clients on both franchise and other commercial matters. Zach also focuses on the legal and regulatory landscape of “Web 3.0” and other emerging technologies. Additionally, Zach enjoys working on general corporate matters for entrepreneurial clients, including technology and high growth businesses.
Zach completed the joint J.D./H.B.A. degree from the Faculty of Law and the Ivey Business School at Western University, graduating with distinction. Zach leverages his business education into his legal practice, servicing clients in traditional and emerging sectors while offering a keen appreciation for their broader commercial goals.
Prior to joining Cassels as an associate, Zach was a summer and articling student at the firm.
