William Adams

William Adams (he/him/his) is a law clerk in the Business Law Group at Cassels, and a member of the Toronto Corporate Services Department. His responsibilities include corporate due diligence, maintenance, searches, audits, filings, and the drafting of corporate proceedings for private and public corporations incorporated under the Business Corporations Act (Ontario) and Canada Business Corporations Act. He also assists with obtaining Apostille certificates for Canadian documents for use in foreign countries. Lastly, he assists the Private Client Group with the post-closing aspects of Wills and Powers of Attorney.

William graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree with dual majors in Sociology and Criminology. He obtained his class P1 (Paralegal) Licence with the Law Society of Ontario after graduating from the Centennial College Accelerated Paralegal Program with Honours. He is a member of the Ontario Paralegal Association and the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario. Prior to joining Cassels, William worked with two boutique criminal law firms in Toronto. In his spare time, William enjoys travelling, golfing, cycling, and cheering for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
