William Adams (he/him/his) is a law clerk in the Business Law Group at Cassels, and a member of the Toronto Corporate Services Department. His responsibilities include corporate due diligence, maintenance, searches, audits, and the review of general corporate proceedings for private and public corporations. Having been at the forefront of transforming the firm’s physical corporate records into electronic format, his approach seeks to maximize the utility of technology to promote efficiency, consistency, and reliability in the way we collect and preserve our clients’ sensitive and confidential data.
William graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree with dual majors in Sociology and Criminology. He obtained his class P1 (Paralegal) Licence with the Law Society of Ontario in 2021 after graduating from the Centennial College Accelerated Paralegal Program with Honours. He is also a member of the Ontario Paralegal Association and the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario. Prior to joining Cassels, William worked with two boutique criminal law firms in Toronto. In his spare time, William enjoys travelling, golfing, cycling, and cheering for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
