Vince Alaimo is an associate in the Real Estate & Development Group at Cassels, with a practice focusing on all aspects of commercial property transactions. He regularly acts for private and public businesses on a wide range of complex matters, including single-asset and portfolio acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, construction, development, reorganizations and restructurings. He has extensive experience representing landlords and tenants in the leasing of office, industrial, retail and restaurant premises. Vince also acts for borrowers and lenders on secured single-lender and syndicated acquisition, term, mezzanine and construction financings.
Alongside his transactional practice, Vince advises on regulatory matters governing the seniors housing sector, the real estate components of large-scale M&A transactions and security enforcement transactions.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Vince worked in the corporate banking sector, where he provided strategic advice to clients for their business growth and offered financial products to support their operations. Vince also founded an event marketing and production company. His work ranged from producing creative marketing campaigns to negotiating with various sponsors to provide cost-effective solutions for clients.
Vince graduated cum laude and was recognized on the Dean’s List for academic excellence.
Before joining Cassels, Vince worked as an associate in the real estate group of a prominent international Bay Street law firm.
