Samantha Shapero

Samantha (Sami) Shapero (she/her/hers) is a member of the 2025-2026 Articling Student class at Cassels. She graduated from the Lincoln Alexander School of Law.

While in law school, Sami played an active role in student leadership and campus life. As Vice-President of the Jewish Law Students’ Association, she coordinated social and networking events and advocated for initiatives to support Jewish students within the law school community. Additionally, she served as a research assistant for the Girls+Sports Project, collecting data on girls’ participation in TDSB athletics and co-developing an educational website to empower young girls with knowledge of their rights.

Sami’s work experience includes an internship at a Toronto-based startup, where she played a key role in organizing brand events and building partnerships with diverse institutions, contributing to the company’s growth and community engagement. Outside of her professional pursuits, she is also a certified spin instructor at a leading Toronto fitness studio, where she motivates participants through high-energy classes and fosters a strong sense of community and wellness.

In her spare time, she loves trying out new workout classes, traveling, and hunting down the best dessert spots across Toronto.
