Raysa Marcondes

Raysa Marcondes (she/her/hers) is a member of the 2024-2025 Articling Student class at Cassels after summering with the firm in 2023.

Raysa earned her J.D./M.B.A. degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and the Schulich School of Business and her Bachelor of Communications (Honors) from MacEwan University in Edmonton, Alberta. During her studies, Raysa is proud to have founded and administered the Osgoode chapter of Artists’ Legal Advice Services. Her and her negotiating partner won the 2023 Dentons Annual Negotiating Competition (Toronto) and went on to place third in the 2024 Canadian National Negotiation Competition. She was the 2023/2024 Alumni Relations and External Affairs co-chair for the JMSA Society and organized the first annual alumni networking event. She looks forward to exploring her interests in Franchise, M&A, Real Estate, and Intellectual Property during her articles.

In her spare time, Raysa enjoys spending her time walking her dog, reading fiction novels, discovering new recipes to try, and planning her next trip abroad.
