Max Ufimtsev (he/him) is a member of the 2026 summer student class at Cassels and a Juris Doctor candidate at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia (UBC). At Allard, Max is actively involved in the law school community as Business Manager and Submissions Manager for the UBC Law Review, Co-President of the Allard Intellectual Property Club, a volunteer clinician with Law Students’ Legal Advice Program, and a peer mentor to first-year students.
During law school, he also worked as a Corporate Records Clerk at a business law firm. Before law school, Max completed an Honours Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Developmental Biology at UBC and worked as a neuroscience laboratory technician and research assistant studying early brain development.
In his spare time, Max enjoys hiking, music, and sports.
