Madison Hass (she/her/hers) is the Knowledge Management Lawyer & Assistant Director of Professional Resources – Calgary at Cassels. In her role, Madison supports all aspects of the recruitment, training, and performance development of the firm’s summer and articling students, as well as associates in the Calgary office. She works closely with lawyers and firm leadership to foster a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented experience for legal professionals. Madison has a particular interest in student and associate onboarding, with a focus on strengthening legal research methodology and foundational skills.
Madison brings a rich and varied background to her work. She began her legal career in civil litigation before transitioning to roles that aligned more closely with her passion for legal education and professional development. She has worked as a learning consultant for a premier provider of legal and tax solutions and as a research specialist at a global law firm. Her experience spans advanced legal research in both English and French, professional development programming, and the design of client-focused learning initiatives.
Madison is passionate about mentorship and is deeply committed to the success of students and associates. She is driven by a desire to help others thrive and to contribute to a healthy, collaborative workplace culture.
