Kristen Lai is the Associate General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer at Cassels. In this capacity, she oversees the firm’s compliance with ethical standards and manages legal risk mitigation strategies. Kristen collaborates with the firm’s operational teams to prepare, review, and negotiate a wide array of commercial agreements on behalf of Cassels. Kristen holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation and works closely with the firm’s Project Management Office.
Kristen also advises on privacy and information security risk management processes, and develops policies, procedures, and documentation to support robust information security practices.
