Kevin Seo (he/him/his) is an associate in the Banking & Specialty Finance group at Cassels. Kevin’s practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, with an emphasis on cross-border syndicated and bilateral financing transactions and corporate finance matters. Kevin’s experience includes both secured and unsecured lending transactions, asset-based financings, acquisition financings, and project financings.
Kevin received his JD from the University of Calgary, where he was involved with the PBSC Human Rights Project, the Business Venture Clinic, and the International Law Society. During his first summer of law school, Kevin worked at the Alberta Civil Liberties Research Centre where he conducted human rights related research.
Prior to law school, Kevin obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Development and Political Science from McGill University. During his time, he was involved with various human rights and anti-genocide related organizations. For his efforts, Kevin was awarded the Alberta Council for Global Cooperation’s 2020 Top 30 under 30 award.
