Kaylea Renz is an associate in the Business Law group at Cassels. Kaylea’s practice focuses on general corporate and commercial law, with experience in securities, mergers & acquisitions and high growth & venture capital. Prior to joining Cassels as an associate, Kaylea was an articling and summer student with the firm.
She received her J.D. from the University of Calgary. During law school, Kaylea was the Founder and Organizer of UCalgary Law Golf Tournament and the Sports and Entertainment Law Group. She was also the Clinic Coordinator for the Business Venture Clinic at the University of Calgary where she provided legal assistance to Calgary start-ups and entrepreneurs.
Kaylea is passionate about making a positive impact on her community. As a former student athlete at Red Deer College (hockey) and the University of Calgary (golf), Kaylea believes sport plays an important role in empowering youth and serves as an essential building block to a successful life. She is actively involved with various sport organizations and volunteer initiatives.
