Katie Mills (she/her/hers) is the Assistant Director of Professional Resources – Vancouver at Cassels. She plays a key role in supporting the recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of the firm’s summer and articling students, as well as associates in the Vancouver office. Katie works closely with lawyers and firm leadership to help ensure a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented experience for legal professionals at all stages of their careers.
Prior to joining Cassels, Katie held roles in business development, project management, and strategic communications across the legal and professional services sectors in both North America and the UK. Her experience includes supporting global client initiatives at international law firms, coordinating large-scale implementation programs, and driving communication strategies to enhance stakeholder engagement and team collaboration.
Katie is passionate about the people side of business and creating meaningful connections that foster professional growth. She is committed to supporting the development of emerging legal talent and believes strongly in the power of mentorship, collaboration, and inclusive leadership to build a thriving legal community.
