Jahaan Premji (she/her/hers) is an associate in the Employment & Labour Group at Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP. Jahaan’s practice focuses on all aspects of employment and labour law, including terminations, workplace bullying and harassment complaints, workplace investigations, employee management, Occupational Health and Safety compliance, policy drafting, human rights issues, and disciplinary matters.

Jahaan has appeared before the Alberta Human Rights Commission, the Alberta Court of Justice, and the Alberta Court of King’s Bench. She offers a resolution-oriented practice where she strives to achieve the best outcome for her clients in the most cost-effective and low-conflict manner.

Prior to joining Cassels, Jahaan served as an associate at a litigation law firm where she gained experience in litigation related to employment and labour matters as well as with commercial and civil litigation issues including shareholders disputes, trademark issues, and general contractual breaches.

Outside of work, Jahaan is a 200-hour registered yoga instructor and teaches regular classes in the Calgary community, rides horses in Okotoks, and volunteers at the Calgary Women’s Centre.
