Gray Potter is a business law associate in the Franchise Law Group at Cassels, assisting clients in navigating Canadian franchise disclosure laws. He also advises clients on corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and general corporate and commercial law matters.

Gray received his JD from Queen’s University and his Bachelor of Commerce with honours from the UBC Sauder School of Business where he specialized in finance. Prior to attending UBC, Gray played NCAA Division 1 golf at Binghamton University in New York where he holds the program-record for lowest single-round score. Gray has experience working as an intern at a Canadian banking and financial services company and several sports companies.

Before joining Cassels as an associate, Gray articled and summered with the firm.
