Chelsea Angel is an associate in the Capital Markets Group at Cassels. Chelsea’s practice focuses on capital market transactions and business law matters, including equity and debt financings, initial public offerings, and mergers and acquisitions. Chelsea also provides ongoing advice to public and private companies regarding corporate governance, continuous disclosure obligations, and Canadian stock exchange issues.
Chelsea acts for clients in a variety of industries, with a particular focus on those in the mining and technology sectors. She also has experience advising startup and emerging companies (as well as private equity firms) with respect to the acquisition, formation, financing, organization, and sale of startup and emerging companies.
Prior to law, Chelsea worked in management consulting and finance roles at a leading global technology consulting firm, where she advised major financial institutions on complex technology initiatives, commercial strategy, and large-scale operational projects. Her combined JD/MBA background brings a strategic and commercially focused perspective to her practice.
